Binary, Decimal and Hexadecimal Conversions

Keep these in mind

- Place values: from the right, binary places are worth 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128. Each one is double the place on its right.
- Decimal β binary: keep dividing by 2 and write down each remainder. Then read the remainders from the bottom up.
- Binary β decimal: add up the place values that have a 1 under them.
- Hexadecimal digits go 0β9, then A = 10, B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14, F = 15. One hex digit is exactly 4 bits, worth 8, 4, 2, 1.
